LEANTECHNIK presents extremely smooth-running lifgo® SVZ rack-and-pinion gear unit

The robust and precise lifgo® rack-and-pinion gear units from LEANTECHNIK are now also available in a very quiet running variant. The lifgo® SVZ with helical gearing was specially developed for noise-sensitive applications.

LEANTECHNIK has added a new series to its proven lifgo® rack-and-pinion gear series: The lifgo® SVZ are characterized by very smooth running and operate just as robustly and precisely as the standard lifgo® gear units. The new series is available in three sizes lifgo® SVZ 5.1, 5.3 and 5.4, with lifting forces of 3,400, 14,400 and 22,600 N. The lifgo® SVZ gear units are manufactured in four different versions: The lifgo® SVZ is an extremely resilient gear unit and achieves high synchronism even at high speeds, the lifgo® linear SVZ is particularly suitable for long stroke and travel distances, the lifgo® double SVZ was designed for gripping and centering movements, and the lifgo® linear double SVZ for gripping and centering movements in applications with long travel distances.

Not only in terms of precision, but also in terms of lifting speed, the new lifgo® SVZ gear units with helical gearing are in no way inferior to conventional lifgo® gear units: They achieve speeds of up to 3 m/s with accelerations of 50 m/s2.

Like all other rack-and-pinion gear units from LEANTECHNIK, the lifgo® SVZ are available individually and as a fully assembled, ready-to-use leantranspo® positioning and handling system.

The first users are already successfully using the new gear unit: For example, a lifgo® SVZ rack-and-pinion gear unit in the “Gulliver’s Gate” miniature world in New York’s Times Square ensures that the aircraft running on a guide “take off” at the model airport without any perceptible background noise.
